SEDCO Celebrated 30th Anniversary.

Nearly 150 people gathered to celebrate SEDCO’s 30th anniversary at the Black Point Inn on October 6,2015. The event featured Danielle Ripich, Ph.D, University of New England’s (UNE) President, as the keynote speaker. Danielle spoke about the importance of the health care sector in Scarborough’s economy. The event was also a perfect occasion to honor four Scarborough based companies for their excellence. This year the SEDCO’s Board of Directors and  Judy Knapp from Delhaize, handed the awards to: Black Point Inn as a Legacy Business, Town & Country Credit Union as a Project of the Year, Pine Tree Seafood as a Small Business and Casco Bay Butter as a New Business of 2015.

The premier sponsor of the event was Hannaford. Gold sponsors included Allied Cook Construction, Biddeford Savings, cPort Credit Union, Gawron Turgeon Architects, People’s United Bank, Pine Tree Waste, Piper Shores, TD Bank.  Contributing sponsors included Bangor Savings, Enterprise Business Park, Fluid Imaging, Northeast Civil Solutions, Roxane Cole Commercial Real Estate, Saco & Biddeford Savings, Town & Country Credit Union and the University of New England.
